Singing is one of the most direct ways we experience our voice. Many adults love singing but feel hesitant, self-conscious, or unsure where to start.
This series is designed to create a safe, supportive space for exploration. Through guided exercises, body awareness, and work with songs you love, you’ll discover how your voice moves, resonates, and expresses itself — not to achieve perfection, but to notice what’s possible when curiosity and attention guide the process.
Singing can reconnect you to the physical, emotional, and creative parts of yourself, making each session an opportunity to explore your voice in new ways.
-
This series is for adults who enjoy singing and want to reconnect with or explore their voice in a supportive environment.
It’s especially well-suited for people who:
Love singing along to music or karaoke but have never taken lessons
Sang earlier in life and want to rediscover their voice
Are curious about exploring how their voice moves, resonates, and expresses itself
Want to experience singing as a playful, embodied practice, not a performance or test
No previous training is required — just curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to explore.

Over six weeks we explore some of the fundamental elements of the voice:
Breath & Voice
Breath is the material of singing. We explore how working with the breath creates the foundation for healthy, supported, and flexible sound.
Resonance & Vibration
We play with how sound vibrates and travels through different spaces in the body, and how sensing these shifts can expand the range of vocal expression.
Shaping Sound
We discover how vowels and the shape of the mouth influence tone, clarity, and ease in different parts of the voice.
Range & Freedom
We experiment with higher, lower, quieter, and louder sounds, letting your voice move naturally through its possibilities.
Expression in Song
We apply what you’ve explored to the songs you enjoy, using them as a playground for experimentation and expression.

I’m a Brooklyn-based vocal artist and teacher whose work explores the voice as both a physical and expressive instrument.
Drawing on classical vocal training, performance experience, and years of teaching adult beginners, she guides students in discovering greater ease, resonance, and freedom in their voices.

Let’s Work Together
The way I like to get started is by setting up a quick 15 minute phone call. This is an opportunity for you tell me a little more about yourself and ask any questions. If it’s a good fit then we will move forward with scheduling and payment! If you’d rather be in touch via email, please submit your inquiry here.
